You might have heard about the exploits of Sindbad the Sailor, but do you know how he met his one true love and saved her from a fate worse than death? Now you can find out as you become the legend in this new hidden object adventure!
Help Princess Chalida locate the seven gems of her royal crown and break the curse that has trapped her in a body of wood. Find hidden objects, identify specific spots in each scene and overcome powerful guardians as you seek out the precious stones. Along the way, you'll have to solve dozens of clever riddles and beat eight challenging mini-games. Before you're through, you'll find a crystal in the heart of a volcano, outsmart a scheming ice god and defeat a raging sea demon, all in the name of adventure!1001 Nights: The Adventures Of Sindbad is a wonderful hidden-object game in which you must help princess Chalida break the curse by collecting and placing the necessary objects in the right place. As you play you are told the story behind the game with good, skippable comics. Throughout the game you will visit different locations playing all kinds of hidden-object games. In some of them you are given a list of items to find, in others you must find the shapes given, or you must find the pieces forming different objects. The scenes are very well-created and the objects are perfectly camouflaged with the background. If you have trouble finding certain objects, you can use the hints, which are unlimited, but take some time to recharge. Also, if it takes you too long to find an object, the game automatically shows you one of the objects with a tiny spark. Unfortunately, this option cannot be disabled, which together with the lack of penalties for incorrect clicks, make the game extremely easy for advanced players.
The game also includes eight optional mini-games that appear from time to time. These add more variety to the game and make it even more enjoyable.
Regarding the graphics, they are cartoonish and attractive. Sound effects are ok, and the music is very pleasant. Unfortunately, I found several grammar mistakes that thwart some of the good things of the game.
In short, 1001 Nights: The Adventures Of Sindbad is an enjoyable hidden-object game that has everything to keep you playing for a while. However, if you are looking for a challenging game, you should definitely look elsewhere.
